IU’s Self-Composed Song, ‘Peach,’ Overcomes SISTAR and Taetiseo

IU’s new self-composed song, Peach has grabbed the number one spot on music charts. After the song from IU’s single album Spring at the Age of Twenty was revealed on May 4, Peach has taken the number one spot on various music charts. This is after triumphing over the fierce competition with SISTAR, Taetiseo, and Busker Busker

With the love song concept, Peach, anticipated by fans, is expressed well with the nervousness of starting a new love, mixed with an acoustic sound and IU’s fresh, young voice. It’s been noted that the title of Peach is also IU’s favorite fruit. Like the good feeling that comes from saying the word, ‘peach,’ the desire to call a loved one with that same feeling was inserted into the song.

It also includes a very sweet scent of innocence, created from the sound of acoustic guitar, along with the recorder and triangle performances by IU herself.

IU’s company, LOEN Entertainment, said, “Instead of a very strong sound, IU wanted to express herself through this self-composed song and included a very innocent and honest feeing. It would be great if you can all love IU’s love songs inSpring at the Age of Twenty.

Meanwhile, with three songs, the new single, Spring at the Age of Twenty will be the first since her last album in 2011. It is a special present to her fans, who have continually been loving and supporting her. IU plans on revealing her title song for the first time at her concert.
