Girl’s Generation Makes Uncle Fan Actors Dance

It’s no secret that Girls’ Generation (SNSD) is especially adored by uncle fans, but the group’s popularity is becoming more visible as uncle fan actors are expressing their love on television.

It all started on episode five of SBS’ A Gentleman’s Dignity, when SNSD Sooyoung arrived at a café where the drama’s heroes, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Soo Ro, Kim Min Jong, and Lee Jong Hyuk, were having a fierce debate about who the better SNSD member was.

When Sooyoung entered the café, Kim Min Jong goes up to her and asks for a signature and picture, as he proves his love for her by dancing and singing along to Hoot, Gee, and Genie.

During a press conference, Kim Min Jong revealed that he was really embarrassed to dance in the way that he did in front of Sooyoung.

Later on, even Jang Dong Gun, a top-rated actor in Korea, danced along to Hoot and Genie to make fun of Kim Min Jong, adding a little something else to the popular drama.

SNSD also made Kwak Do Won, currently appearing as a cold-hearted detective in SBS’ Ghost, dance and sing, causing audiences to laugh with this new image to his character.

Aired on June 28, Kwak Do Won and So Ji Sub find out that there is a wired bug in their car and the two turn on the radio to drown out the important conversation about a murder case.

The radio begins to play Taetiseo’s Twinkle, and Kwak Do Won begins to sing along while even dancing the original choreography of the song, complete with the twinkling fingers.

With the popularity of SNSD continuously soaring high, fans are anticipating which uncle fan actor will dance next.
