Longtime group DJ DOC’s musical will soon be coming to Japan. The musical Street Life first made premiered in Korea last June. Adopting 22 of DJ DOC’s hits as the motif for the musical, the success of the musical is now spurring it on to Japan.
Street Life will hold its premiere performance in Japan on October 6 at Osaka’s Shochikuza theater and will run until November 4.
The performances will be done in Korean with Japanese subtitles offered for the audience.
According to DJ DOC’s representatives, despite the group never having held any activities in Japan, the response in Japan to the group’s music has been passionate, which helped influence the decision to take the musical to Japan.
